The photos in this slideshow were taken in late Spring 2010, on a recently donated 100-acre open space parcel that sits atop the steep slopes overlooking the Aliso Canyon and Pacific Ocean. The parcel will be preserved as open space in perpetuity. The Maritime Chaparral covered parcel is home to endangered plant and animal species and offers an unspoiled look at some of last remaining coastal open space in southern California.
